Mr. Apiwat Numbanteng represented Thailand at a Competition on Intellectual Property Rights in India H&P IP law firm

The Department of Commerce under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Government of India, in partnership with Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), organized the 5th edition of Global Exhibition on Services from 26-28th of November 2019 at Palace Ground, Bengaluru, Karnataka. GES 2019 is the Largest Services Show in India showcasing India’s prowess across various services sectors before a global audience.

During the Global Exhibition on Services (GES) 2019, SEPC held an International Young lawyer’s Mooting Competition on Intellectual Property Rights on 27 and 28th November 2019.

The organizers invited two qualified lawyers from leading law firms from each of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation and CLMV countries for the competition.

SEPC invited Khun Thanavit Koochingchan – Senior Associate from International Legal Counsellors Thailand Ltd. (ILCT) and Khun Apiwat Numbanteg from H&P Herrera & Partners for the International Young lawyer’s Mooting Competition on Intellectual Property Rights as per direct recommendations from the Indian Embassy in Thailand.

Finally, the organizers announced that the team of lawyers from Thailand have been awarded the best team.
