Ms. Chanya Nontasen is an Associate Lawyer at the H&P office in Bangkok. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Mae Fah Luang University. Ms. Chanya Nontasen is a key member of the corporate and Thai commercial law team at H&P, with extensive experience in providing legal services for both Thai and international businesses.
Over the years, Ms. Chanya has worked extensively in corporate law, including company document management, license applications, contract drafting, and contract reviews. She has been instrumental in advising both Thai and foreign investors on various corporate matters in Thailand.
Currently, she is responsible for handling corporate affairs, including company licensing, contract drafting, and contract reviews. Additionally, Ms. Chanya has broad experience in conducting legal due diligence and legal investigations on Thai companies, assisting clients in making well-informed business decisions.
Ms. Chanya is highly skilled in business law and corporate development in Thailand, as well as in preparing the necessary legal documentation for investments and business operations in compliance with Thai regulations. She works in Thai and English language.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
-Drafted major contracts including investment agreements, shareholder agreements, director agreements, construction contracts, and energy contracts, ensuring compliance with Thai laws while safeguarding clients’ interests.
-Assisted in obtaining various licenses for businesses such as travel agencies, cannabis operations, restaurants, and the importation of dietary supplements from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
-Submitted applications for Foreign Business Certificate (FBL).
-Prepared applications for Board of Investment (BOI) applications.
-Drafted documents related to the US-Amity Treaty.
-Conducted due diligence and provided legal opinions for companies seeking to acquire shares, engage in joint ventures, or import vehicles for sale in Thailand.
